Crypto analysts from Swyftx are cautiously optimistic about the final quarter of the year, despite ongoing turbulence in the United States caused by political gridlock and a government shutdown. They suggest that December could mark the beginning of a positive trend for digital assets, supported by key macroeconomic factors that are shaping investor sentiment.
According to Swyftx’s chief analyst, Pav Hundal, U.S. economic growth and inflation remain two of the most important indicators to watch. He points out that while rising inflation often takes months to be reflected in mainstream economic models, in the short term it can act as a strong tailwind for assets such as Bitcoin, which has already surpassed $118,000. Hundal also noted that robust economic growth could further support higher Bitcoin prices.
Another driver of optimism comes from the growing influence of decentralized perpetual futures exchanges. Platforms like MYX Finance and Aster are beginning to capture market share, echoing the growth patterns previously seen with DeFi pioneers like Uniswap. Ted Coaldrake, co-host of the Tapping Into Crypto podcast, emphasized that even investors who don’t actively trade on these platforms should pay attention to the trend, as it represents a narrative shift in how market participants interact with decentralized finance.
At the same time, both Hundal and Coaldrake stressed the importance of understanding basic crypto terminology. Coins such as Bitcoin and Ethereum serve as the native assets of their blockchains, while tokens are built on existing chains. Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), meanwhile, provide investors with indirect exposure to cryptocurrencies without holding the assets directly.
As 2025 draws to a close, the interplay between macroeconomic conditions and technological developments in decentralized exchanges may shape the next phase of the market. While optimism is building, analysts caution that the crypto landscape remains highly unpredictable, requiring investors to stay informed and strategically positioned amid rapid changes.
